LAbDirector
Kathleen Reardon joined the Department of Psychology at Cleveland State University as an Assistant Professor in Fall 2021. She is a core faculty member in the Clinical Psychology specialization of the Master of Arts degree, and an affiliate member of the Psychological Science specialization.
Previously, Dr. Reardon spent two years as the Madigan Family Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Family Institute at Northwestern University, working on research with Dr. Erika Lawrence and providing clinical services for children, adolescents, and adults.
She completed her APA-accredited pre-doctoral clinical internship at the Stony Brook University Consortium Internship Program during the 2018-2019 year. Dr. Reardon graduated from the Clinical Psychology doctoral program at Northwestern University in 2019 under the supervision of Dr. Jennifer Tackett. Before that, she completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Pittsburgh.

When she's not working, Dr. Reardon loves to spend time cooking and figuring out how to keep things alive in her community garden plot. She also loves spending time with her family and her dog, Tilly.

MAPPLab Graduate students
Angel is a second-year graduate student in the Clinical Psychology program at Cleveland State University. During her undergrad, she earned her BA in Psychology with a minor in Sociology at CSU and became a member of the MAPP in Fall 2022. Angel is interested in parent-child relationships and their effects on adulthood, personality, and maladaptive behavior. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, going to concerts and art museums, and listening to music.
Angel Ciccarelli
Nishka is a second-year graduate student in the Clinical Psychology program. She completed her Bachelor’s of Science with honors in Biomedical Sciences with a minor in Psychology at Toronto Metropolitan University. Her interests lie at the intersection of Multicultural Psychology and Clinical Psychology. She wants to explore the way specific disorders may show up differently within specific ethnic groups. Her goal is to obtain her PhD and become a licensed psychologist, with a focus on culturally responsive therapy. Nishka enjoys watercolor painting and trying new recipes in the kitchen.
Nishka Gupta
Tierra is a second-year graduate student in the Psychological Sciences program. She earned her B.S. in Forensic Psychology with a minor in criminology from Arizona State University. Broadly speaking, her research interests are in adverse childhood experiences and their impact on psychological development into adulthood, especially concerning psychopathology, criminality, deviancy, and maladaptive behaviors. In her spare time, she enjoys rock climbing, birding, and hiking in the wonderful Metroparks that Cleveland has to offer!
Tierra McClary
Ethan is a first-year graduate student in the Psychological Sciences program at Cleveland State University. They completed their undergraduate education at Bowling Green State University, graduating with a B.A. in Psychology and a minor in music. Ethan’s research interests lie in the development and improvement of therapeutic practices. In their free time, Ethan likes making music, walking through nature, and playing video games.
Ethan Besselman
Ariana is a first-year master’s student at CSU studying Clinical Psychology. She earned her B.S. degrees in psychology and political science from Case Western Reserve University in 2024. Her research interests broadly include forensic psychology and its intersection with psychopathology, developmental, and personality psychology. In her free time, she enjoys painting, sketching, playing guitar, thrifting, and watching movies!
Ariana Ellis
Katie is a first-year graduate student at Cleveland State University in the Clinical Psychology Master’s Program. She graduated from Cleveland State University in 2024 with a major in psychology and a minor in art. She has earned her pre-art therapy certificate and presented two posters at the Midwestern Psychological Association Conference in 2024. She has been in Dr. Goncy’s HEART lab since the Fall of 2023 and started in Dr. Reardon’s MAPP lab in the Summer of 2024. Katelynn is interested in personality and relationships. She currently works at the House of Blues and tutors K-12.

Miraya is a first-year graduate student in the Clinical Psychology program. She completed her BA in Psychology at KC College, in Mumbai, India. The opportunity to write, complete and present an undergraduate research paper, inspired her to pursue a career in psychological research. Her research interests lie in Body Image and Eating disorders. Specifically, the sociocultural influences leading to these disorders and other causal factors (like personality differences). Miraya is a dancer, loves dogs, and in her free time binges on TV shows!

Emily is a second-year Cleveland State University graduate student pursuing her master’s in Clinical Psychology. She completed her undergraduate education at Baldwin Wallace University, earning a B.S. in Psychology and Criminal Justice. Hoping to obtain her PsyD and ultimately become a licensed psychologist working within the forensic setting, Emily’s interests generally fall at the intersection of clinical psychology and criminology. Outside of the lab, she enjoys snowboarding, playing volleyball, and staying in with her cat, Edison.
Emily Yasher
Morgan is a second-year graduate student in the Clinical Psychology program at Cleveland State University. She earned her B.A. in psychology with a minor in leadership studies from Doane University. Her research interests lie at the intersection of clinical psychology and criminology. Specifically, she wants to explore risk factors of incarceration. Her goal is to obtain a Ph.D. in clinical psychology and become a forensic psychologist. Outside of the lab, Morgan enjoys baking, knitting, and going on long walks.
Morgan Queen
Jin is a second-year graduate student in the Clinical Psychology program at CSU. He attended (The) Ohio State University for his undergrad, graduating with a BS in Psychology and a minor in Philosophy. His research interests are primarily focused on risk and protective factors associated the development of psychopathology. This includes exploring environmental factors and/or personality traits associated with resilience. Upon graduation, Jin intends to obtain his PhD degree in Clinical Psychology and become a professor. In his free time, Jin enjoys boxing, writing short stories, and taking his cat & dog out on a walk.

Anna is a first-year graduate student in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at Cleveland State University. She completed her undergraduate education at the Ohio State University, graduating with a B.S. In Psychology and minors in Dance and French. Anna's research interests include trauma, aging, health psychology, and psychopathology. In her free time, she likes dance, listening to music, and going for walks.
Anna Donsky
Myiesha is a new research assistant in the MAPP Lab. Myiesha graduated from the University of Toledo in Fall 2022. She majored in Psychology while minoring in Criminal Justice. She currently attends Capella University, pursuing her master's degree in clinical psychology specializing in forensics. She is set to graduate this Winter 2024. She is anticipating applying to a doctorial school for her PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology this winter, hoping to start the program in Fall 2025. Her goal is to become a Forensic Psychologist for juveniles and adults. She currently works as a forensic case manager for individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities and mental health disorders.
